Scholars Program

Bishop Ireton is proud to offer its Distinguished Scholars Program. Individuals who meet program qualifications and choose to complete all requirements will be commended as a Bishop Ireton Distinguished Scholar on their transcript and receive special recognition during graduation ceremonies at the end of their senior year.
This rigorous program is designed to provide high-achieving students with the opportunity to pursue and showcase advance studies and research in an area of choice; to be mentored by an expert in the field on a specific topic as part of a capstone project; and to present project findings or solutions related to issues with far-reaching effects or global impact, or that improve the human condition. The first graduates from the Distinguished Scholars Program graduated in the Class of 2024.

The Bishop Ireton Distinguished Scholars Program is designed to prepare students for recognized achievement in higher education. The critical thinking skills, research skills and aptitude gained in a specific concentration will develop leadership and communication expertise that will provide the foundation for educational and professional success throughout a lifetime.
